Kids playing at D20's weekly Date Night Magic Tournament

Looking for something for the kids to do on President’s day?  We’ve got’em (and you) covered.  Starts at 12-5 Magic Sealed Deck Event–$35 (Includes 2 drinks, a mid afternoon snack, 6 packs, and an afternoon of safe fun)  Decks will be made of the packs opened.  Special Bonus: Bring in your decks to have our in-house guys help tune and tweak.  Play against store players for extra prizes and advice.  Limited to 24 kids, so sign up in advance. For kids from age 9-14. Parents/gardians are welcome to join, and can stay with kids under age 9.

Older players who wish to join, may do so provided they are interested/willing to help the kids sharpen their games.

Here are the upcoming Magic (MTG) Events for this week

Friday:

• Friday Night Magic  Adults (@6:30)  $15 with sleeves (last month for free sleeves…after Feb, Drafts will have options of $2 sleeves).
  DA, INN, INN. (Dark Ascension is a true expansion set..it works best Mixed with Innistrad.  Next week will be the standard recommendation, DA, INN, INN)

•  Date Night Magic (@5:30-9:30)  $15 with sleeves, $20 with two pieces of pizza and a drink. (Come for Pizza at $5 and RSVP at info at d20alameda.com to make sure we have enough.)  If you are going to be late, call or email and we can have someone sit in for the first part of the draft for your child.  They will make their best picks and pass those on when your child gets there. (please don’t do this if you will not be making it since this costs us money to do.)

Order of Chaos Comes out 1/24

1.   Duelist League for 14 and younger on Saturdays at 2:30  (we will still run it sometimes on Sunday, but load in all the new cards into the binder on Saturday, so the best winning is on that day.)  $5 and includes the new Turbo Pack 7.
2. Master’s tournament on Sunday at 1:30 $5 entry (1 pack into the prize pool for every two players entered. Prizes divided among 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.)
