New Years week update: Magic on Friday…Kids in the afternoon, FNM Zendikar at 6:15…

Hey folk…Holiday update:

The store is open Limited Hours this weekend, and since were missing a couple of events, we’re adding to Friday.  Oh yeah…a bunch of cool new stuff in the store and some specials.  Find us on Yelp for a special deal that is going on for packs right now.  Also, come in this weekend for some last minute specials (example…Yugioh Legendary Collection 2 for $35 $29 through the weekend, with a free deck box as a bonus).

Thursday, Dec 29th: 3:30 to 7 (limited hours)

Friday, Dec 30: Open Early (12-8)

  1. Kids Magic Draft-1 p.m.-5pm $15 per player.
  2. Friday Night Magic-Special Edition—$20 Special Draft-Zendikar.  (I know…players have drafted a LOT of Innistrad…this is just a fun change of pace while we wait for the next set to come out next month.)

Happy Holidays folks!!

We’re open extended holiday hours up to Xmas eve, but will be on more limited hours until next Friday.

One of the cool new presents we got for the holidays...

Dec 22: 1 to 8

Dec 23: 11-10  Friday night magic and drafts all day.

Dec 24: 10-5 (maybe longer.)  (purchase only…no events that day)

We are offically closed between the 25th and the 30th, but keep checking back for more bonus hours and events that may happen during that time. (Or call in)

We will be Drafting Magic on Friday Night at 6, and will have draft lists going all day for bonus drafts (as soon as we get to 8, we will draft.)  We will be drafting all the sets from Standard (Scars block, M12, Innistrad.)

We got a ton of new stuff in for the holidays!  We have Photon Shock wave boxes back in stock, Fat packs from Scars, Mirridin Besieged and New Phyrexia, a bunch of great Pokemon stuff and some super cool deck boxes and mats.  We also managed to get a very, very cool blast from the recent past that is very hard to find: Archenemy.  This varient of Magic lets one master player take on 2-5 other players by them-self.  It’s a great version for one player who is good to have a bunch of their friends who may be of different levels get a chance to play together and learn. (Great for a kid to play against a younger sibling and a parent or buddies, and wonderful for older players who want to mix up their games.  These go for $25 each and are guarnteed to have lots of fun in ’em.) This is  And we are running a bonus holiday special…spend more then $35 and get 1 of any of the standard packs (Yugioh, Magic or Pokemon) for free.  (Excludes 7 for 6 pack offer and events).

Monday Special Draft!! Worldwake! Holiday Hours…

Get yer Jace on!  Second of our Premium Draft series–Worldwake!

We did an after hours draft of the first batch last week and realized that we’d forgotten how much fun this set was.  Beyond the possibility of  pulling the card that was so good it almost broke Magic completely, the set features a bunch of extremely fun aspects, including kickers, landfall and allies.  Lots of different and fun ways to play in this set.  It also includes the extremely cool Zendikar lands.  These packs normally go for $10 each these days, so even at the premiere price of $25, this is a lot of fun for the $$.  Limited to the first 12 players to sign up, so come in (or call in) early.

Cost: $25/pp (includes 3 packs of Worldwake.)  Prizes of VERY cool Worldwake Mat and the lands that match them for the top players. (but since it is $30 worth of Worldwake for $25, everybody wins. 😉 )  Sleeves are available for special discount of $2 with the draft.

Hey folks, we are going to be open some Bonus hours this week to let people come in when the kids are still in school.  Coffee (Tea, Chai, Hot Coco, or Hot Cider) are my treat for weary shoppers.

D20 Update: 11/30- Kids events moving to Sat…Magic and Yugioh

Hey folks…so this is the big week for changing the days of the kid’s events.

Changes this week for the kids events:

  • Date Night Magic is moving from Friday night to Sat. night.
  • Yugioh kids event (the Duelist league) is moving from Sunday to Saturday afternoon.
A kid free time to shop!!!  
Parent Coffee at D20:  8:30-9:30.am on Thursday and Fridays for the next two weeks. Get a chance to head over and get parent level translations on all this stuff to help figure out which holiday gifts will get the best smiles. (Oh yea, and choose your poison from our Krupps machine on us.)  This special opening is for adults (parents) only…

Holiday Hours:

Friday 18th, Open late (5:00).  (D20 Team is heading off around 7:15 Am for the SF World Magic Championships)

Saturday 19, Open Late to Late (2-9)

  • Deck Clinic-all day:  Bring in your Magic or Yugioh Decks to test them against our sharpshooters and get deck advice.
  • Final Practice for 3k Draft: Signups start at 6, play as soon as we have 8

Sunday 2oth, Open Late (1pm)

 Special Masters 1:30: Photon Shockwave Box tournament.  $5 entry fee. 1/2 box for 8 players, Full box for 16 or more.
