This store championship is all about your deckbuilding skills. We combine packs from all the sets that will be in standard after Guilds of Ravinca comes out and will do the tournament as a sealed event. # of round depends on number of players.

9-16=4 rounds with cut to top 8

Emmara, Soul of the Accord All participants receive an exclusive participation promo full art card(while supplies last). The Top 8 players each receive an exclusive deckbox. The cards are awarded to the Top 8 players even if the tournament cuts only to the Top 4. In addition, the first place winner of Magic Game Day will receive an exclusive limited-edition Playmat.

Magic 2019 Open House

The Magic 2019 Open House designed to give people a chance to bring in friends to introduce to Magic. While supplies last, anyone who buys one of the new Core 2019 Planeswalker decks (two weeks early) or brings in a new player to introduce to Magic gets a special unique Promo Guttersnipe. The other way to do get the Snipe is to join in the casual Standard tournament at ~noon. Bring a standard deck to try out, buy one of the planeswalker decks, or bring a buddy to learn magic. Regardless come on in and share a good time. (We’re counting on our more experienced players to help out the new folks.)

Dominaria Store Championship

When: June 24th @ 10am

Where: D20 Games, 1530 Park Street

Time: 10:00 AM Sunday

What: Standard format Swiss competition.

Entry Fee: $10 (two packs per player added into the prize pool)

Game Days are the first opportunity for you to play Standard (60 card min. deck with max 15 card sideboard) with the newest cards. Join us for Magic Game Day. This is a competitive level event, which means that the rules will be enforced at the same level they do at the big events. (We still play with our normal friendly attitude, but no “wait, I didn’t mean to do that” etc.) (Advice on how to build a standard deck from Wizards)

Special full art promo card for each participant (while supplies last)

What:Hours of Devastation Standard format Swiss competition.

Entry Fee: $10 (two packs per player added into the prize pool)

The following sets are Standard legal for this event: Battle for Zendikar, Oath of the Gatewatch, Shadows over Innistrad, Eldritch Moon, Kaladesh, Aether Revolt, Amonkhet, and Hour of Devastation.

All participants receive an exclusive participation promo full art card(while supplies last). The Top 8 players each receive an exclusive Foil full-art foil card. The cards are awarded to the Top 8 players even if the tournament cuts only to the Top 4. In addition, the first place winner of Magic Game Day will receive an exclusive limited-edition Playmat.

Number of rounds will be determined by number of players.

Magic Game Day(s) Sat & Sun 24-25th

The 9 event Hero’s Path that Wizards started with Theros comes to its conclusion this weekend, with the chance to play against the Defeat a God, starting during the Game Day events. Players can bring a standard deck or can use one of the draft or two-headed Giant decks to play against the third (and final) of the special challenge decks. Bring in any of the hero cards that you may have acquired during the previous prereleases or special events and you can pick two that will help during with your battle with the gods themselves. We are also doing at Journey Into Nyx Two Headed Giant on the 24th, to round out the day…

Foil full art promo for the top 8 each day

Also, starting at 10 am on Sat the 24th and Sun the 25th are the Journey Into Nyx Game Day events. These competitive standard format tournaments will have special full art promo cards for each player, foil full art promo cards for the top 8 of each event, and el numero uno each day gets the special championship playmat.
